Addie was super excited to help out with this one this month. And who doesn't love cupcakes?! We only needed a couple of things we had to provide, eggs, oil, water, butter and yogurt.
Addie's first job was to put the cupcake holders in the tin. Seemed like a better job than dealing with raw eggs and she excelled at it.
She helped out with dumping the ingredients into the bowl and finishing up with the mixing. We basically mixed the organic brownie mix, eggs, and oil to make the brownie mix, which we then put into the cupcake tins.
Then she had to do the hardest part of all - waiting. We had to let the brownie cupcakes completely cool before we could frost them. When I finally started frosting is when I learned that I'm not great at it. Little miss was however excellent at putting the eyes (chocolate chips) on the mummy cupcakes. It also happened to be her favorite part since I let her eat a couple chocolate chips along the way.
Then we were done. Rob did some of them for me and some definitely look better than others but it didn't really matter what they looked like in the end because they were good and were going to get eaten anyway.
I definitely need some practice with the piping bag but some of them didn't turn out half bad.
Some were definitely not so pretty. But it was fun to do. And it was even more fun to do together with Addison.
